About

Hello! This is the website of Michelle Chamuel (me! vocalist, musician, composer), The Reverb Junkie (still me! music producer, art-maker, sound nerd), and Side of Beets (the nerdy blog).

As a kid, I found music and furiously dove into its behind-the-scenes production and composition. Musical studies led me to complete a BFA in Performing Arts Technology at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and eventually tour the continental US in an electro-jam-pop band, My Dear Disco (also known as Ella Riot). In 2012, the band ended and I joined the cast of NBC’s 4th season of The Voice, after which the performing bug left and I returned to creating behind-the-scenes.

Most notably, my music has been featured on ABC Family, The CW, StarKid Productions, VH1, NBC, Starbucks, H&M, American Eagle, CCTV, the Doris Duke Artist Awards, Annual Urbanworld Film Festival winner Mooz-lum (2010), Getting Go: The Go Doc Project (2013), SXSW official film selection 1500 Miles (2019), and Indigo Girls music based film Glitter & Doom (2023).

Please kick off any shoes you have on, click around, and thank you for your visit!
